Be On Time

We understand that at most places, appointment time doesn't actually matter.  You arrive at the dentist 15 minutes early and he makes you wait 30 minutes!!  But here it's very important to be on time.  Our appointment windows are 10 minutes each.  In that short amount of time we must do everything we can to get you in the chair and ready to heal.  If you are more than 5 minutes late you risk losing your appointment and that makes us sad :(
Yes we will do what we can do make it work but we are often too booked up.  So be on time.  It's in your best interest.

Keep Conversations Relevant 

Warmth and kindness are always welcome at Community Acupuncture Of Marin.  However, because of our tight schedule, it's important to keep any conversations relevant to your chief issue so that we can focus on getting you better. 

Insurance Is Not Taken Here

Insurance involves a lot of paperwork which involves a lot of overhead- and overhead is the enemy of affordable, natural healthcare.  While we can provide you with an email receipt or a full invoice of your appointments at CAM, we do not go beyond that.  

As an aside: Insurance co-pays are often ironically more expensive than what we charge.

Research Directions

Most GPS systems will easily take you to us, but some GPS systems are misleading and misdirect people, causing them to get lost and miss their appointment. 

​Please be absolutely sure you know how to go to the clinic before getting in the car.  

(Directions are simple as long as you don't miss the very last turn.  Be sure to park in the parking lot where you will see the stairs leading to the clinic.)
