Chinese Medicine Pulse Diagnosis - How it Works
Pulse consultations are separate from acupuncture visits that you may be having at the clinic, and can be scheduled back-to-back with a treatment. When you come for a pulse session, we will sit for 10 minutes and feel the pulses qualities of different areas on both your wrists and based off that information, an herbal prescription will be written. We usually start with a week of herbs to see how you feel, and either refill the formula for 2 weeks or adjust the formula first. You are free to use this service for as long or as in-depth as you want. The general rule is the longer you've had a problem, the longer it takes to undo it!
Jimmy Chang The system I use was developed by Jimmy Chang. Jimmy is a genius who examined thousands of pulses in hospitals in Taiwan to organize this beautiful system. It is in total alignment with Chinese Medicine but also Western Medicine. His system is extremely accurate and can detect issues even before they are symptomatic.
