On my recent trip to Portugal with my Mom, we wandered into this wonderful store in Lisbon - everything was made from cork. They had wallets, belts, hats, shoes, and rows of bags. We soon learned that cork is one of Portugal's largest exports.
I fell in love with a bag in this store but it was pricey, and it was the first day of our 2 week trip! My Mom saw the look on my face and said, "You'll regret it if you don't buy it". I didn't want to spend a chunk of my spending money on the first day of the trip, but I did buy the bag and I'm so glad I did. When I look at it, it makes me happy. Let me tell you why.
I love that cork is a sustainable leather alternative that does not rely on animals or plastic, two things that are anything but healthy for the environment. It's also simply beautiful. So, I looked into importing some cork items to share with the community and after researching several companies, I landed with a small but varied collection of items including women's and men's wallets, belts, iPhone cases and purses. They're all available at the clinic.

Note, the belts we have are samples and are very short, longer lengths can be ordered.
