About Ryan Dempsey
I studied in China, and witnessed the power of acupuncture, Chinese herbs and Medical massage (Tui Na).
When I returned home, I got a severe shoulder injury while participating in sports. I decided to try acupuncture as an alternative to the recommended surgery.
Within two months I regained all my strength and flexibility and was able to avoid further damaging my shoulder with a surgical procedure.
At that point, I decided to study and practice Chinese Medicine. I spent my first years in practice in San Diego and recently returned to the Bay Area to be closer to family.
I joined Community Acupuncture of Marin to help people return to the activities that bring them joy and to share their lives in balance with their loved ones.
